The Philips Vision Plus P21/5W is the multiple use bulb product in the successful Vision Plus range of bulbs.
The P21/5W bulb is suitable for the following applications (check your vehicle handbook!): - brake (stop) lamp
- indicator (flasher) lamp
- rear (tail) lamp
- automobile lamp
In the case of braking, the Philips Vision Plus P21W bulb provides 50% more reaction time for the following driver to brake. This is the result of a brighter and faster lighting up. This means that the driver behind you had approximiately three metres more braking distance at 100km/h (62mph).
The technological knowledge at Philips developed the Vision Plus P21W bulbs with a new gaseous mixture inside the bulb which facilitates a thicker filament to light up more quickly without using any more energy or shortening the life of the bulb.
