The Philips Vision Plus P21W is the multiple use bulb product in the successful Vision Plus range of bulbs.
The P21W bulb is suitable for the following applications (check your vehicle handbook!): - brake (stop) lamp
- indicator (flasher) lamp
- reverse (backup) lamp
- rear fog lamp
In the case of braking, the Philips Vision Plus P21W bulb provides 50% more reaction time for the following driver to brake. This is the result of a brighter and faster lighting up. This means that the driver behind you had approximiately three metres more braking distance at 100km/h (62mph).
The technological knowledge at Philips developed the Vision Plus P21W bulbs with a new gaseous mixture inside the bulb which facilitates a thicker filament to light up more quickly without using any more energy or shortening the life of the bulb.
